Tutorial

Here's how I make my patterns in Illustrator. The reason I do it this way is because I don't re-use a whole lot of my patterns from kit to kit...I have several basic patterns (like plaids, dots, stripes, damask, etc) that I have saved which I use over and over, but for unique patterns, such as the swirly flowers and dots for my Cupcakes Add-On Kit, I use this method.

One of the sweetest baby faces you ever did see! Peyton was here for a short visit today while Grandma & Papa went grocery shopping with Leland.

My dinner: a delicious salad with sliced bartlett pears, crumbled goat's milk cheese, green onion, pecans and pear & blue cheese salad dressing. Nate's dinner: Wendy's. To be fair, I did have a handful of fries before the salad.

Well, you can tell the girls are gone to their dad's today, as the most exciting thing I have to take a photo of is my new pair of boots!

Lukas slept over at our house for the first time last night! He spent the day playing with the girls. I snapped this photo when I saw how nice the lighting was when they were all watching the snow falling outside. You can see how bored Sophie was, as this was probably about the 6th or 7th photo I took!

The girls in their new (two dollar!!) t-shirts from Bluenotes. Sadie's says "I'm crushing on you" and is of two pop cans, and Sophie's says "Oh snap!" and is of a crumbling cookie. Myah also got one, which has dice on it and says "That's how I roll." We'll give it to her next weekend when she's here!

Sadie finally lost that front tooth that had become so annoying for her! Mommy actually had to pull it out - although it certainly was loose enough that it didn't take much effort to do so!
